Two-star Michelin chef - Michel Roux Jr's budding partnership with one of the UK’s award-winning Gin specialists leads to second exciting development. 

In 2021 Michel Roux Jr. partnered with Staffordshire distiller, Nelson’s Distillery & School to create the pouring gin for his famous fine dining restaurant - Le Gavroche, based on Upper Brook Street, Mayfair, London.

The Le Gavroche Gin is a unique blend of 28 botanicals designed to provide a taste of Provence, working in harmony with the classical French menu on offer at the restaurant.

Since its release, the gin has been a huge success both at the restaurant and through Le Gavroche and Nelson’s online stores. 

Customers who were lucky enough to get their hands on one of the first 1000 bottles were entered into a competition to win a meal for two at Le Gavroche and a Shared Gin Making Experience at Nelson’s Gin & Vodka School. Bottle 765 was randomly selected by Michel himself. 

Bitten by the distilling bug Michel Roux Jr was keen to produce a second spirit and continue the budding relationship with craft distiller Nelson’s Distillery & School.

Michel used his expert culinary knowledge and extensive chefing experience to research and develop his latest recipe. Michel Roux Gin is a true celebration of the Roux family.
