As we slowly get back to business amidst a new normal, let us not forget the hardship so many went through, and the isolation we experienced during this COVID-19 pandemic.
None more so than our fantastic NHS, who worked face-to-face with this deadly virus, often living away from their families in order to keep them safe from infection.
Every week, we clapped in appreciation and support for our beloved NHS workers. And with your help, we were able to raise £30,000 for the NHS Charities Together COVID-19 Fund, an amount that is ever-increasing!
Together, the UK has helped the NHS Charities Together COVID-19 Appeal reach a whopping £130 million, supporting NHS staff, volunteers, and patients through the immediate and long-term effects of the pandemic.
This huge donation amount has greatly helped the NHS and those closely-related charities working together to fight this virus. However, with only £10 million set aside in case of a second wave, we must continue to strengthen our support and efforts!
Although the news has announced and confirmed the rapidly declining coronavirus cases and deaths in the UK, we must not get complacent.
In a bid to keep the donations rolling in, Nelson’s Distillery & School pledges £10 from every Gin & Vodka School voucher bought throughout September to the NHS Charities Together COVID-19 Fund. This pledge also includes direct bookings.
Gin School vouchers can be redeemed at any of our UK Schools while direct bookings allow you to book the specific school you want to visit.
Customers will receive a FREE £20 Gift Voucher when they book onto Nelson’s Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds Gin Schools. The gift vouchers will be handed out during your scheduled experience day.
We will also bring out a final batch of our Hats Off to Our Heroes Charity Blue Gin available in 70cl and 30ml bottles, as well as a 70cl Refill Pouch.
£10 from every 70cl bottle sold and £1 from every 30ml miniature bottle proceeds will continuously be donated to the NHS Charities Together COVID-19 Fund.
