The Timur is especially unique to Nelson’s, originating from the Nepalese mountains.

Part of the Szechuan Pepper Family, the spice offers a citric
aroma not too dissimilar to grapefruit. However, its taste
leaves a warm tingling feeling similar to that of peppercorns. Blended with Nelson’s iconic London Dry recipe, it is distilled without alcohol to create a truly unique 0.0% spirit.

Rhubarb & Custard is wonderfully reminiscent of the childhood rhubarb and custard sweets…

Nelson’s Rhubarb & Custard marries sharp bites of rhubarb with the sweetness of Madagascan vanilla, giving it well-desired custard notes. Blended with Nelson’s iconic London Dry recipe, it is distilled without alcohol to create a wonderfully scrumptious 0.0% spirit.

Both recipes are a resulting harmony of Thai lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves, Madagascan vanilla and Sri Lankan cinnamon.

SPICY GRAPEFRUIT & GINGER FIZZ

Unforgettably exciting and perfect for parties and gatherings.
This drink offers a kick of jalapeño to liven up guests
with every sip.

Mixed in with grapefruit, fresh mint and finished off with
ginger beer, this medley of flavours is truly a
dance of its own!

INGREDIENTS

200ml Nelson’s Naughtical Timur
600ml 100% grapefruit juice
4 tablespoons fresh lime juice
4 sprigs of fresh mint
2 to 4 slices fresh jalapeño
600ml ginger beer
Ice

METHOD

  1. Muddle lime juice, jalapeño and mint in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add in Nelson’s Naughtical Timur and grapefruit juice.
  3. Shake.
  4. Add crushed ice to 4 short tumblers.
  5. Strain over equal amounts of the Timur + grapefruit mixture.
  6. Top with ginger beer and stir.
  7. Garnish with a slice of lime, jalapeño, and/or a sprig of fresh mint.
  8. Enjoy!

SPARKLING RHUBARB & CUSTARD LEMONADE

For those with milder tastes, bask in the soothing flavours
of lemon, lime, mint leaves and tarty rhubarb.

A pour of refreshing elderflower sparkling water completes
this lovely drink to share during more intimate occasions.

INGREDIENTS

200ml Nelson’s Naughtical Rhubarb & Custard
600g of washed Rhubarb
250g Caster Sugar
150ml Water
Juice of 1 Lemon
1 bottle Elderflower Sparkling Water
Ice, lime and mint leaves (to serve)

METHOD

  1. Chop rhubarb into small chunks.
  2. Add rhubarb, lemon juice, caster sugar and water to a pan.
  3. Slowly bring to the boil, while dissolving the sugar.
  4. Turn down the heat and simmer for 25 minutes.
  5. Stir as you cook until the rhubarb is very soft and the liquid has thickened.
  6. Strain.
  7. Allow cooling.
  8. Chill in the fridge.
  9. Once chilled, add the Nelson’s Naughtical Rhubarb & Custard and divide between 4 glasses
  10. Add ice, mint leaves and top with sparkling water.
  11. Garnish with rhubarb and lime.
  12. Enjoy!
